(BPT) – Everyone feels pain at some point. Women have a particularly interesting relationship with pain – childbirth is considered to be one of the most painful experiences and in general, women report having more pain than men. A recent analysis of peer-reviewed scientific research published in 2014 focused on women and pain revealed studies that shed light on how women cope with pain, whether from surgery, labor, back pain or painful periods, and insights into how physicians are improving pain treatment strategies for their patients.
