UW-L Chancellor Visits Tomah Health

Tomah Health Rehabilitative Services coordinator Emily Wall, left and Rehab Services director Tim Kortbein posed with UW-LaCrosse Chancellor James Beeby during a tour of the hospital’s Rehab Services on March 4.

UW-LaCrosse Chancellor James Beeby met with Tomah Health officials March 4 for a ‘meet and greet’ session.

Beeby and UW-L Director of Community Engagement Lisa Klein met with CEO Derek Daly, CFO Joe Zeps, hospital Rehab Services Director Tim Kortbein, Rehab Services coordinator Emily Wall and hospital Marketing director Eric Prise for about an hour to discuss partnerships and future collaborations between the university and hospital.

Kortbein said UW-L has been a valuable resource for attracting rehab services staff. He said a large percentage of Rehab staff are UW-L graduates.

Daly said the meeting was a great way to continue a strong partnership while looking for additional ways to work together to benefit the hospital and university.
The visit also included a tour of the hospital’s Rehabilitation Services.

Beeby became UW-L Chancellor in July.
