Tomah Health Community Health educator Whitney Sanjari, left, presented a donation of diapers to The Parenting Place Fund Development director Alia Henrichsen. The diapers were donated by hospital staff who attended the hospital’s “Staff Family Picnic” Aug. 24.
Henrichsen said the donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to stock the diaper bank at The Parenting Place’s Tomah diaper bank. “We are distributing about 5,000 diapers a week throughout the organization so we greatly appreciate the donation from businesses and organizations that help us to keep children clean and healthy,” said Henrichsen.
The Parenting Place has diaper banks in LaCrosse, Sparta and Tomah.
The Tomah location is inside the Tomah Recreation Station at 316 Aurther St., and is open Mondays from noon – 1 p.m.
