CCF Bank Supports Foundation

CCF Bank president Peter Reichardt said the Tomah bank has been the major sponsor of the annual Tomah Health Community Foundation golf outing for more than a dozen years. So when this year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19, Reichardt said the bank wanted to continue with its support.

“CCF Bank is really pleased to make a $1,500 donation to the Tomah Health Community Foundation,” Reichardt said during a check presentation Aug. 31.

The annual golf outing raises over $20,000 each year to help fund the foundation’s mission to support health and wellness initiatives that benefit Monroe County residents.

“As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic the event was postponed until 2021, but the need is still there from our area nonprofits who are serving children and families with wellness and other types of programs that the foundation supports,” Reichardt said.

He said the bank’s donation will help to ensure that the foundation can continue to support those nonprofits in need in communities throughout Monroe County.

Thirty teams helped raise funds to support wellness projects during last year’s 24th annual Foundation golf outing held at the Hiawatha Golf Club.

Reichardt, who also serves as the foundation president, said officials are planning to resume the golf outing in August 2021.
